Abhijeet Sawant career
Abhijeet unveiled his second album titled “Junoon,” in 2007. But it garnered moderate success. Less than the heights of his debut. In 2009 he stepped into the world of acting, making his debut with the film “Lottery. “Over the next few years, Abhijeet made brief appearances in the 2010 film “Tees Maar Khan” and portrayed himself in cameo roles in TV shows like “CID” and “Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai.” And that’s when his singing career started to decline. Abhijeet Sawant’s legal troubles
Abhijeet was unaware that the worst was still to come. In 2010 he landed into trouble when he and his fellow singer and Idol contestant Prajakta Shukre, hit and seriously injured two teenagers on a two-wheeler in Mumbai. As per the witnesses, Abhijeet and Prajakta were drunk and got into an argument following which Abhijeet was beaten up. However, he later refuted the reports of getting drunk. The singer later got into politics joining the Shiv Sena party. And continue to do stage shows in India.
