In a recent revelation, the 30-year-old artist opened up about a memorable onstage mishap at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2016, which had a profound impact on him, leading him to the therapy.

During his appearance on stage, just before their duet performance, Nick Jonas, equipped with his guitar, intended to deliver a flawless solo intro. However, despite numerous rehearsals with Ballerini, he found himself playing the wrong notes, caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events. Reflecting on the incident, Jonas expressed, “I was feeling extremely confident and never anticipated it to be a potential stumbling block. As I commenced the performance, everything seemed fine, but as I approached her, I suddenly went blank. I hit a wrong note, and it was as if I momentarily blacked out, realizing my mistake but unable to recover.”

I was swiftly whisked away in a car and then rushed onto a plane. I glanced at my manager and simply said, ‘I think that was bad.’ I was in a state of shock, to say the least. It was an incredibly traumatic experience that shaped the immense pressure I placed upon myself to achieve perfection and maintain an unwavering presence.”

Presently, Nick Jonas embarks on a highly anticipated tour across the United States alongside his brothers Joe and Kevin, collectively known as the Jonas Brothers. The trio’s latest offering, “The Album,” represents their remarkable sixth studio album as a pop band. Released on May 12, 2023, the album features standout tracks such as “Wings” and “Waffle House” which have been warmly received by fans and critics alike. Prior to this release, the Jonas Brothers treated their loyal supporters to “Happiness Begins” in 2019, marking their first album following their notable reunion.
