Amitabh Bachchan Halts Shoot Due To The Muscle Tear To His Right Ribcage

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is currently not keeping well after suffering from a muscle tear during an action sequel. Here’s what the actor posted.

The evergreen and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan leaves no stone unturned when it comes to acting. The actor managed to take risks many times in his career as per the demand of the scenes and hence he has seen quite of few injuries during his Bollywood career. Whether it was a fatal accident in 1982 or medical issues, The 80-year-old actor still continues to entertain fans. Now a piece of depressing news about the actor is buzzing on the internet which has made his fans worried about him.

Recently, while filming on the sets of the upcoming Nag Ashwin film, Project K, in Hyderabad the actor got injured. After which he took to his social media platform to share the news with his fans he wrote: “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured – rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, canceled shoot.” He also confirmed that he is back in his home Jalsa, and needs rest. He spoke that the strapping has been done, but he is having pain while moving and breathing. It will take a few weeks time for healing, said the 80- year old actor.

For those unaware, usually, Amitabh Bachchan often meets people gathered outside his home as a part of the Sunday ritual. But due to the injury, he requested his fans not to gather as he will not be able to attend them. Until he gets normal. The film for which he is currently shooting also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas in pivotal roles. As per the information the movie is set to release in January next year. Also, he has a Hindi remake of the Hollywood hit “The Intern”, in his pipeline and once again Deepika will be seen sharing the screen space with him.
