This was confirmed during the promotion of Karan Johar’s directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in which they both starred alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It was 2016 featuring Anushka and Ranbir Kapoor as its lead actors. And directed by Karan Johar. The movie also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan.
During interviews, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor are often seen engaging in playful banter. Recently, an unreleased video of the two has been making rounds on Instagram, in which Anushka Sharma can be seen getting visibly angry with Ranbir Kapoor. In the video, from the recording studio, both were present and we can see Ranbir Kapoor drawing a pen tattoo on Anushka Sharma, Anushka Sharma retaliates in a fun way by hitting Ranbir Kapoor and raising her voice. She can be heard saying, “Ranbir, I swear to God,” followed by the question, “Why did you do this?”. But it seems that Ranbir loves to do funny things with her as he recently told her that Anushka is her preferred co-star.

Talking about their work front “Rab ne baba di Jodi” actress is gearing up for her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress, which marks her return to the silver screen after becoming a mother in 2021. She will be portraying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the film. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is currently filming for the movie Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles.
