Deepika Padukone Wants To Be A Wonder Woman In Hollywood Films

Deepika Padukone recently spoke about taking up superhero roles in Hollywood films and talked about the ones she rejected.

Deepika Padukone’s action avatar is being appreciated all over and she is currently basking in the success of her recently released film Pathaan. Also, a comeback for Shah Rukh Khan, on the Big screen after four years. The character played by them is so strong that it has crashed several box office records. DP’S action sequel was the big reason for the film to be a hit. The gorgeous actress recently in an interview also spoke about the kind of roles she will take up in the future.

Revealing the kind of roles she has rejected, the actress spoke that she doesn’t want to be a Barbie. She spoke about taking up the roles of Batman and Wonder Woman in Hollywood Projects. For the uninitiated, she was also a part of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel. According to Padukone, the world is tilting toward actresses, who are now playing roles beyond what was seen earlier. Hence she showed her interest to play strong roles. Overall now Bollywood and Hollywood are gradually bridging which will give a bigger picture. Not only Deepika but also we have seen other actresses in Hollywood films. One such example is Citadel which stars not only Priyanka Chopra Jonas in lead but also Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. According to the reports Alia Bhatt is also making her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone however it will feature her for a limited screen time

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Project K, opposite Prabhas. Which will hit the screen on 12th January 2024. The poster shows a hand in the middle with three Gunmen pointing toward it. This will also mark Deepika’s Telugu film debut and also her first movie with Prabhas.
