Rapper Tory Lanez has been sentenced to a 10-year prison due to his involvement in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He was charged for the incident that happened in July 2020. It all happened when he had an argument with Megan at the pool party hosted by Kylie Jenner. And he shot Megan.

According to people he talked about the serious accusations against him and asked the court to let him prove he was innocent. Tory also said that he heard people saying he’s not a heartless person, and apologized for his mistakes on the night of the incident.

After two days of hearings about the shooting, the court announced Tory’s sentence on Tuesday in Los Angeles. That means the rappers will be behind bars for 10 years.
