Sushant Singh Rajput’‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will be re-released in theatres soon.
The popular sports biopic on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, is set to hit theaters across India in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on 12th May. Originally released in 2016, “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” depicted the inspiring journey of the former cricketer and Indian national team captain.
According to Bikram Duggal, Head of Studios at Disney Star, the re-release aims to give fans of the most successful cricket captain in India another chance to relive cricket’s most magical moments on the big screen. The film has been incredibly special not only for Star Studios but also for Indians worldwide. Alongside Sushant, the film featured talented actors such as Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher, and Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s limited filmography had a deep impact on his fans. He was known for his selective and experimental choices and his passion for method acting. He shared about the research and preparation work he went through to portray the former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Fans and movie critics alike praised Sushant’s depiction of the iconic cricketer, and the film’s commercial success showcased audiences’ appreciation for his acting skill.
