Bollywood star Zeenat Aman‘s comeback is an inspiration for many women. She has been breaking stereotypes, one after another. At 71 she joined social media a few months back. And now she has done a rap for her latest ad showcasing her style and rap skills in collaboration with a social networking app designed exclusively for women. This app focuses to empower women by helping them build strong networks, apply for jobs, attend special events, and connect with other like-minded women.
Zeenat charmed her Instagram followers with a promotional video, dressed in a chic black ensemble – a top and matching pants under a shimmery jacket, accessorized with a cool neckpiece and dark sunglasses. In the video, she took inspiration from Kareena Kapoor’s Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai from Gangubai Kathiawadi. The Diva also added a new twist to her video with an iconic song “Dum Maaro Dum” from her movie “Hare Rama Hare Krishna.”
The actress can be seen standing before a mirror and says, “You have no right to be so bold. Love how Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) shows us it’s hot to be cold.” giving a twist to the song she also raps a new version of “Dum Maaro Dum,” expressing that we should focus on our own journey rather than worrying about others. After all, it was Zeenat so the video quickly went viral leaving her fans thrilled to see her back in action.
